ZAP congratulated Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University on its 125th anniversary

Acting Chairman of the Board of “Zaporizhabrasive” Oleksandr Kozeratskyi congratulated the staff of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and the rector Viktor Greshta on the anniversary date – the 125th anniversary of the institution’s founding.

On this occasion, the Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant announced the creation of a joint mechanical processing laboratory, which will open by the end of 2026. The list of equipment that the plant will donate to the university includes, in particular, lathes, milling, drilling and grinding machines of various types – necessary for the manufacture, processing and grinding of small parts. During the celebrations, Oleksandr Kozeratskyi handed the rector a gift certificate and addressed the following words of greeting:

“Viktor Leonidovich, on behalf of Zaporizhabrasive, I sincerely congratulate you on the 125th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. I wish you, even in these difficult times for our country, the maximum number of applicants, and accordingly, future graduates. We present you with a gift certificate for the opening of a joint mechanical processing laboratory with equipment for detailed study and analysis of abrasive materials. Also, this laboratory will allow applicants and graduates of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic to have a clear and profitable career path. We are waiting for new cadres of engineers, technologists and other specialties, because we have set a goal to rejuvenate the workforce and are ready to educate high-quality specialists in the field of abrasive materials. Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant has been cooperating with educational institutions that are part of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic for many years. Students of technical schools undergo practical training at the enterprise and receive the necessary professional skills in the specialties of locksmiths, mechanics and other technical areas. The plant plans to continue supporting young people, promote the development of engineering education and form a strong personnel future for the Ukrainian industry.
