Oleksandr Kozeratskyi, Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Zaporizhabrasive”, held a working meeting with the management of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” to discuss prospects for cooperation in personnel training, development of technological competencies, and applied scientific research.

One of the key topics of the meeting was the training of young specialists for industry, particularly smelters and process engineers. For PJSC “Zaporizhabrasive”, this is of strategic importance, as the efficiency of smelting and foundry production directly depends on the professional level of personnel.

The company’s management confirmed its interest in the systematic development of technological staff and the implementation of scientifically grounded approaches aimed at improving the efficiency of the fused alumina smelting process.

Special attention was also given to opportunities for the company’s employees to prepare and defend scientific research papers at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, as well as to prospects for involving the university’s researchers and students in research and applied projects of Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant.

During the visit, university representatives presented a modern welding laboratory — a successful example of cooperation between science, education, and business implemented in partnership with Zaporizhzhia-based enterprises.

Following the meeting, both parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership focused on training highly qualified specialists for Ukrainian industry and strengthening cooperation between education, science, and manufacturing.
