Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant was the first to receive the status of authorized economic operator (AEO) among the region’s enterprises.
Despite the long process of obtaining AEO status, which took about six months, “Zaporizhabrasive” successfully passed the monitoring of customs authorities and received positive conclusions from the commission.
“We are the only large manufacturing enterprise in the country that has received this status. It confirms the high level of trust in the company from the customs authorities and gives us access to simplified customs procedures,” said the Chief Executive Officer Ihor Burak.
The status of an authorized economic operator provides significant advantages, including faster and more efficient customs clearance, reduced costs for crossing borders, and reduced risks in connection with customs control.
“For a company that has ambitions to expand its activities in European markets, this is an important opportunity to ensure competitiveness, efficiency, and security in international trade. We are proud of our team’s achievements and are sure that the AEO status will be a new step in the company’s development. Our mission remains unchanged: to provide customers with high-quality abrasive materials and services,” said the CEO.
At this stage, the enterprise received one of two types of authorization: AEO-C – granting the right to apply remarkable simplifications.
