As part of its sustainable development strategy and commitment to improving the environmental situation in the region, Zaporizhabrasive has taken another important step to reduce harmful emissions generated during the production of electrocorundum in melting furnaces. To enhance the efficiency of the gas cleaning system, the company carried out a scheduled replacement of cartridge filters in the flue gas purification system.

The plant purchased 330 cartridge filters (model Air filter – Cartridge CJ 325/1400/909 AF20SF) from the European manufacturer Hengst Filtration Denmark AS. The total investment amounted to €67,749.00.

The filters were delivered and installed in the shortest possible time. The replacement of outdated filter elements was carried out on June 18–19, 2025.
