From November 28 to 30, 2024, Zaporizhzhia Abrasives Plant (ZAK) took part in the largest international exhibition of industrial technologies in the Baltic States – “Tech Industry 2024”, which was held at the Ķīpsala Exhibition Center, Riga.

The exhibition brought together exhibitors from more than 25 countries, including Ukraine. The national stand, organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, became a platform for demonstrating innovations of Ukrainian enterprises. ZAK’s products, in particular high-quality abrasive tools, aroused considerable interest among visitors.

The second day of the exhibition was marked by important meetings. Negotiations were held at the stand with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Anatoly Kutsevol and the head of the Ukraine Trading House in Riga Oleksandr Petrov. The possibilities of exporting Ukrainian goods to the Baltic States, in particular in the abrasive materials segment, were discussed.

The main results of ZAK’s participation in “Tech Industry 2024”:

– Expansion of the geography of cooperation: potential partners from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland became interested in the plant’s products.
– Product interest: the greatest demand was caused by 125×1 mm cutting wheels and wheels for KLT.
– Distribution opportunities: proposals were received to create a warehouse and retail store for the local market.
