“Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant” (ZAP) has become another corporate client that has chosen D.TRADING to supply guarantees of origin for electricity. The agreement provides for the sale of 25 thousand MWh of certified electricity from renewable sources in the second quarter of 2025.

ZAP is the only manufacturer of abrasive materials in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. The signing of the contract demonstrates the company’s consistent work towards reducing its carbon footprint and adapting to the new requirements of global markets.

D.TRADING’s guarantees of origin allow companies to confirm the consumption of electricity from renewable sources and increase the transparency of their ESG reporting, which is especially relevant in the context of the gradual implementation of the SWAM mechanism in the EU.

This agreement demonstrates that Ukrainian industry is increasingly actively involved in the energy transformation. D.TRADING, for its part, continues to expand partnerships in decarbonisation, offering clients tools that meet European practices and standards.

D.TRADING previously concluded a contract with MHP and Knauf Group to sell guarantees of origin.
