Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant continues to expand its range of advanced grinding solutions and introduces a new product — high-porous vitrified bonded grinding wheels.

The new product is designed for manufacturers that require high productivity, consistent machining quality, and reliable tool performance under intensive production conditions.

Thanks to a special manufacturing technology, pores sized from 1000 to 6000 µm are formed within the wheel structure. This open structure provides more efficient chip removal, improved coolant access to the grinding zone, and reduced grinding temperature. As a result, the risk of burns and thermal damage to the workpiece surface is significantly minimized

• 1.5–1.7 times lower grinding temperature;
• 50–70% productivity increase;
• enhanced cutting ability;
• efficient processing of hard-to-machine materials;
• reduced energy consumption due to lower wheel mass

High-porous wheels are suitable for:

• gear and spline grinding;
• tool sharpening.

The product is manufactured using fused alumina and silicon carbide in various combinations depending on customer requirements.
