People Are Our Core Capital: Support for ZAK Employees in 2025

People have always been and remain at the heart of the Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant’s operations. The company consistently implements its corporate policy “People – Infrastructure – Markets”, under which people and human capital form the foundation for sustainable development, the recovery of production infrastructure, and a stable presence in both domestic and international markets.

Throughout 2025, the Plant provided financial assistance totaling approximately UAH 2.4 million, aimed at supporting employees in the most challenging life circumstances.

Key areas of financial assistance in 2025 included:

  • Restoration of property damaged as a result of shelling by russia — UAH 742,211;

  • Medical treatment for Plant employees — UAH 710,500;

  • Medical treatment for immediate family members — UAH 399,500;

  • Funeral assistance — UAH 357,100;

  • Support for families of employees serving in the Armed Forces — UAH 150,000;

  • Other types of assistance — UAH 13,000.

“For us, people are the company’s core capital. The ‘People – Infrastructure – Markets’ policy means that recovery and development begin with supporting our employees.
In 2025, we focused on assisting those affected by the war: supporting service members and their families, helping employees in cases of illness or loss, and contributing to the restoration of property destroyed by shelling. In difficult times, responsible business must stand alongside its people — and we consciously adhere to this principle,” emphasized Oleksandr Kozeratskyi, Acting Chairman of the Management Board of ZAK.

The Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant will continue to implement its social responsibility policy, supporting both employees who are currently defending Ukraine and those working on the home front, thereby ensuring stable operations and contributing to the country’s economic resilience.
