On May 8, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Victory, honoring those who died in World War II.
It is not about pathos and salutes, but about the human cost of war. About millions of Ukrainians who went through the fronts, camps, occupation, deportations. About those who fought and died, dreaming of freedom. We remember them not for the sake of the past, but for the sake of the future – to prevent a repetition.
Today, Ukraine is again at the center of the struggle for freedom against racism, which threatens not only Ukraine, but the entire world. As then, victory is possible only through unity, determination and solidarity. It is the memory of the past that teaches us the main thing: to prevent a repetition.
We remember! We win!
