On March 24, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Employment Center hosted a job fair organized specifically for PrJSC “Zaporizhabraziv”. The event was an opportunity for potential candidates to get acquainted with current vacancies, working conditions and career prospects at one of the largest enterprises in the region.
In total, 31 applicants took part in the event, who received comprehensive information about scarce professions, social programs and professional development opportunities.
Deputy Chairman of the Board Maria Milchevska introduced the company and outlined its personnel needs. Participants watched video materials that demonstrated production processes, products and the history of the enterprise, as well as a presentation dedicated to open vacancies and the level of wages at the plant.
The company’s specialists – Ruslan Tolmachov, Serhiy Tkachuk, Andriy Mykhailychenko and Nataliya Bezshtanko – spoke about the peculiarities of work in various production units, in particular in the production of electrocorundum and abrasive tools. They answered numerous questions from candidates regarding the level of wages, transportation, working conditions during air raids, employee reservations and other important aspects.
After the official part of the event, participants had the opportunity to receive individual consultations, which contributed to a more personalized dialogue between the employer and potential employees.
Maria Milchevska, Deputy Chairman of the Board of PrJSC “Zaporizhabraziv”:
“We took the initiative to hold such a job fair in connection with the increase in salaries at our enterprise from March 1 for some scarce professions, as well as due to the personnel shortage in the production of corundum and abrasive tools. All applicants who attended the meeting receive a referral to the plant from the employment center for further familiarization with vacancies and working conditions. And this should help attract new employees to work with us. According to the results of the fair, three people were employed by us the very next day: two – for the production of corundum and one – for the production of abrasive tools. We expect that more will come.”
Job fairs, organized in cooperation with the Zaporizhzhia Regional Employment Center, not only contribute to the attraction of new employees, but also raise awareness of career opportunities at the enterprise.
Given the positive results of the event, an agreement was reached to regularly hold job fairs for Zaporizhzhyabraziv PJSC – from now on they will be held every month.
