ZAP participates in annual meeting of Ukrainian Employers Federation

Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant, a member of the Ukrainian Employers Federation for over a year, attended the organisation’s annual meeting, which unites more than 8,000 Ukrainian companies. The event resulted from the joint work of business and the Federation in 2024.

Among the main results of the year, which were achieved through joint efforts, were noted:
• extension of the duty-free trade regime for Ukraine until June 2025;
• resolution of issues related to the unblocking of the free movement of goods across the Ukraine-EU border;
• increased sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation;
• improvement of mechanisms for booking employees for business needs.

In addition to achievements, the participants discussed the key challenges facing business in 2025:
• the need for currency liberalisation;
• increased investment in modernisation of production and training of employees;
• ensuring transparent conditions for booking specialists and receiving state grants.

The issue of reducing the country’s workforce was also raised, which requires the state to be more predictable in economic policy and transparent rules for enterprises.
Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant expresses gratitude to the Federation of Employers of Ukraine for supporting Ukrainian manufacturers in promoting themselves in international markets, organising national stands at exhibitions, assisting in developing B2B relations with EU companies, and obtaining the status of Authorized Economic Operator.
We appreciate the fruitful cooperation with the Federation in 2024 and look forward to even greater interaction next year to further develop Ukrainian industry and exports.
