On December 4, the Zaporizhabrasive awarded the winners of the competition among employees of leading professions. The event was organized at the initiative of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Maksym Bilyavsky on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the enterprise. The competition lasted from October 21 to November 26 and brought together 53 participants, who represented the following specialties:

electricians for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment;
locksmiths-repairmen;
electric and gas welders;
crane operators;
spreaders of grinding grain and powders;
melters of abrasive materials;
molders of abrasive products on ceramic, bakelite, vulcanite and epoxy bonds.

The professionalism of the participants was assessed by a commission chaired by the Chairman of the Board Igor Burak. The tasks included both theoretical and practical tests. Special attention was paid to the correctness of actions, the quality of work performed and the time spent on the task.

The award ceremony was held in the presence of the company’s management. The Chairman of the Board, Ihor Burak, personally congratulated the winners, presented them with certificates and thanked them for their high professionalism:

“This competition, as I understand it, was held for the first time at our plant. I thank all the participants for their activity, knowledge and experience. I hope that in a year we will gather again to celebrate the best!”

Competition prizes:
The winners will receive a monthly supplement for a period of one year:

for 1st place – 20% of the tariff rate;
for 2nd place – 10%;
for 3rd place – 5%.

The competition became an important step in supporting employees and promoting professional skills at Zaporizhzhia.
