ZAK took part in a meeting of the business community dedicated to Ukraine’s course towards the EU

Ukraine continues its course towards joining the EU despite full-scale war and heavy losses. Integration into the EU opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian enterprises but will require significant efforts and resources. The readiness of the Ukrainian business community was discussed during the discussion “The European Path of Ukraine”, organised by NV media holding.

Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant, one of the largest manufacturers of abrasives in Eastern Europe, understands the importance of adapting to European production standards.

Joining the EU not only opens up new sales markets for our products but also requires the company to comply with European environmental standards.

We always try to implement measures aimed at reducing emissions into the environment. The most extensive and expensive project implemented in recent years was modernising our gas treatment facility in the electrocorundum smelting shop. We practically reached the European standards of emissions into the atmosphere.

We have also modernised the aspiration units in the grinding material production shops, which allows us to capture more dust and gases.
